Capilon Hotels has completed the rollout of Flexkeeping, a Mews company, across its four central London properties, consolidating housekeeping, maintenance and front office operations onto a single platform after years of running on largely manual, paper-based processes.
The group, which manages 199 rooms across properties in central London, went live earlier this year. Prior to implementation, room assignments were distributed on paper, and housekeepers communicated room status to front desk staff by phone or in person. In a multi-building setup with minimal front desk staffing, the lag between a room being cleaned and reception knowing about it could stretch to two hours.
Since the rollout, Capilon has recorded a 343% ROI, a 67% productivity improvement, and 114 hours saved per month, equating to £1,599 in monthly cost savings.
The platform connects directly with Mews, updating room statuses automatically when a clean is completed. Capilon also runs Flexkeeping alongside runnr.ai and Mara Solutions. The former routes guest WhatsApp requests directly to the assigned housekeeper. The latter automatically generates maintenance tasks from guest review feedback overnight.
